Bad News

Just got word that it's Jack Parker's birthday tonight. Definitely a bad omen for the Huskies

End of the Second Period- score tied 4-4

As the second period comes to a close, the score is tied at 4-4. This should make for a hell of a third period.

There is :13 seconds remaining on the penalty to Colby Cohen of BU.

Stats coming soon.

5 on 3, NU style

Penalty to Colby Cohen, 2 minutes for interference. The Huskies will have :19 seconds of 5 on 3.
The goals for NU were scored 29 seconds apart.

Now we get a penalty to Beanpot hero Alex Chiasson for elbowing at 16:31 of the second period and the Huskies will get on the power play.

And the answer to that is a resounding YES!

The Huskies score two goals back-to-back and get back into the game.

Goals were scored by Mike McLaughlin (his first of the season!) and Jake Newton (his second of the game).

On the second goal for Newton, Chris Donovan gets his first point in his thirteenth career game against the Terriers.

Northeastern Kills Off Both PP's

The Huskies are back at even strength after killing off both penalties on the bench and Driscoll.

Now the question, can they take any momentum from their efforts and turn this game around? We're halfway through at 10:00 into the second.

NU: Penalties Galore

After killing off a penalty to Justin Daniels, the team gets called for too many men on the ice and then Jim Driscoll gets called for hooking.

5 on 3 for the Terriers for about 1:15
